About Us

We are Chennai United – A 100% not for profit initiative, started by a group of like minded individuals, who came together to help the people of Chennai affected by the Dec 2015 floods. Has managed to attract over 200 volunteers who have later continued to support people needing help in Kerala rains, Gaja cyclone and other situations. Now doing our bit to help with the COVID situation.

Covid Initiatives

In this COVID situation, we realised there are many teams of volunteers across the country working day and night to help everyone who is impacted.

Cyclone Disaster Management

During past floods and cyclones such as Chennai Floods of 2015, Kerala Floods, Gaja Cyclone etc, our volunteers were involved in rescue, relief as well as rehabilitation activities.

Chennai CanKids Support

CanKids Chennai is an organisation with 16 cancer affected kids staying at a home in Adyar and getting their treatment done in various hospitals in Chennai.

    There are many ways in which any one can help.

    1. Leaders: If you have some free time and can manage a few volunteers, thats one way you can help.

    2. Content Managers: If you are good at Google Sheets, you can help by keeping our hospital, bed, medicine, plasma, oxygen information up to date.

    3. Coordinators: If you are good in coordination, you could be the conduit between our volunteers and our advisors (both directions).
